4.4L Diesel for Range Rover coming from Ford plant. F150 diesel next?

Autoblog Green is reporting that a 4.4L V8 diesel option will be offered soon in the Range Rover luxury SUV. But what makes this especially interesting is that the engine is being sourced from Ford's Chihuahua engine plant in Mexico, ironically enough, where the new 6.7L "Scorpion" Power Stroke is also assembled. Could this foreshadow a diesel option in the F-150? Discuss.
